Last weekend I attended a flower workshop given by YAY Conceptstore in Antwerp.
After a power breakfast at Wasbar, I was ready to get to work.
The workshop took place in the store which I highly recommend visiting or check it out online if you're planning to have any parties in the future. We got a chance to browse the store while we waited for the rest. The tables were already set for the group. Quite a few people showed up for the workshop but I wasn't surprised.
I thought this workshop would be hard because I'd never done anything like this before and I didn't know what to expect. She told us that it's impossible to make any mistakes but there were a few tricks and tips we could keep in mind.
As we all got to in to our creative headspace I noticed that even though everybody was making their own creation there was a supportive vibe going on. We were complimenting each other, offering to help as well. I think this would be great thing to do for a bachelorette party, a birthday or team building activity.
As predicted we all made little masterpieces with an own unique twist. It was like everybody made one that had their personality and style. The best part was being able to take it home. I put mine in my living room. It's such a statement piece and a great gift idea. Because the flowers are dried it will last me such a long time. I couldn't be happier !
